We are so thankful to Devin and all of the Positive Pets staff! We completed the transformation academy and now moving into the advanced classes. We have two young boys and I felt so overwhelmed with trying to get her to listen.. it felt like chaos at home.. now I feel like I have a different dog! I feel so connected with her now and she is so calm around my young kids. She listens well and is a joy to take on walks with my boys. They really taught us so much about how to work with our dog and why. I would highly, highly recommend positive pets! I look forward to continuing working with them and our dog absolutely loves it there as well!

I take my dog Butters here every week for their reactive dog class after going thru my stay and train lessons.

I am always blown away how amazing the usual trainers Donny and Devin handle my dog and guide me in this class, since my dog is very reactive towards everything and he’s huge….and very strong.

This week however Sarah was leading the class and she saw the immense stress and anxieties in my actions and turned the whole class around to focus on breathing and getting not only my dog to calm down but me as well. I literally cried at the end of class in relief when I saw the change in Butters.

To anyone researching this place. Stop looking you’ve found the best place for your dog. every member of their staff is incredible from the office to the trainers. Thank you Positive Pets, we can’t wait to see you next week!

I enrolled my dog in the Transformation Academy hoping they could help with the pulling on the leash, complete distraction and aggressive behavior to other dogs. What a change, I couldn’t believe she was the same dog. We can go for walks or to the park and she is paying attention to me, not pulling or trying to get to someone else’s dog. If I stop, she stops and sits down beside me. She also learned manners, sit stay come.

The trainers are fantastic, they really want your dog to succeed. They often told me to be sure and call them if I have ANY questions or concerns. I would recommend Positive Pets to anyone looking for help with their dog.

When we first started training, I’ll admit I didn’t like our puppy very much at all. He was such a handful and my kids were scared of his excessive puppy biting. We paid for the 5 private lessons and finished our 5th today. He’s like a brand-new dog. He finally feels a part of our family. The training not only improved his behavior but our bond as well. The trainer showed us step by step how to work with him and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend using this company.

I cannot stress enough the positive impact and absolute peace-of-mind this training facility has made for our family. Our dog lacked reliable/any recall skills which led to very stressful situations where our dog would all but disappear completely at a park and wander back when he was ready to see us again. We decided to enroll to help with recall and off-leash training to make outdoor adventures safer for both of us. We opted for the day-train program and it is absolutely amazing the difference that this instruction has made. Our instructor, Meghan, laid fantastic groundwork and then taught us how to continue to build and practice on that healthy understanding. At the end of each week, our dog knew what was expected of him, so my husband and I were really the ones who needed to learn and practice. We continue to work with him every day even now because our progress has been so visible and so exciting! He loves having a busy mind and I love seeing him be the best dog that he can be. He comes (enthusiastically!) when he is recalled and maintains an excellent heel when off-leash (something we struggled with for a very long time before Positive Pets). I am so excited to continue to attend classes and continuing to build the bond between our dog and ourselves. We could not have asked for better support and instruction.

I had someone tell me, “I wish my dog behaved as well as your dog on walks.” Considering that I was unable to walk my poorly behaved dog prior to my training , I would highly recommend Positive Pets to anyone needing help.

Training process is effective. My little Yorkie was too small for the collar control but I can still see the positive effect it had on him. He is a little soldier always ready to perform for me even 4 years later.

I love this place! Two dogs with different motivations and rescue dog issues. Worked with me and have great, well-behaved dogs now!
