Advanced Classes:
Advanced classes are open only to clients who have graduated from select Private Lesson or Transformation Academy training programs.
Distraction Class
This class will serve as a transitional step for clients who have just completed their Private Lesson or Transformation training programs. The class will help build confidence in implementing the Positive Pets methods. This class will serve as a pre-requisite to the Advanced Off-Leash Class and other specialty classes.
When: Tuesdays – 6pm @ Meridian
When: Thursdays – 7pm @ Boise
When: Saturdays – 11am @ Boise & Meridian
*Clients should attend 6-8 intro classes before moving on the advanced class.*
Advanced Off-Leash Class
Teaches your dog how to respond positively in real-life situations while off leash. Builds on skills learned in the Distraction class.
When: Tuesdays – 7pm @ Meridian
When: Thursdays – 6pm – @ Boise
When: Wednesdays – 9am – @ Boise
When: Saturday – 10am – @ Boise & Meridian
*Clients should attend 12-24 of these classes before moving on to the Specialty Classes*

Shed Hunting: Mon, January 29, 2024 -6pm @ Boise
- If you want to get your dog to stop shedding this class will not help. If you want your dog to pick up antlers while out on hikes; this class is for you! Antler sheds will drop off deer and elk in the middle of Winter and you could have your dog help find these natural pieces of art. Our Shed Hunting class will help you guide your dog to picking up and returning with any antlers they may find while getting some exercise in Idaho’s great outdoors.
Novice Tricks: Fri, March 8, 2024 -7pm @ Meridian – FULL
- Don’t underestimate the power of education! Engage your dog’s mind by teaching them different dog tricks. We will teach you how to lure and communicate with your dog to do a plethora of different behaviors. You can even earn an AKC Trick Dog Title or two! Novice Rally: Mon, March 18, 2024 -6pm @ Boise
- Enjoy learning with your dog how to navigate an obedience obstacle course. Rally is an AKC dog sport that teaches how to use your obedience to a higher level. Learn the different signs and rules to set up a mentally stimulating game for you and your dog.
AKC Novice Nose Work: Mon, April 1, 2024 -5pm @ Boise
- If your dog’s nose knows, then this is the class for you. Learn how to get your dog to detect a scent and develop a response that will let you know they have found it. We will show you how to set up your training area and the most commonly used scents.
Advanced Agility: Fri, April 5, 2024 -7pm @ Boise
- Weave, Teeter, and Walk! This class will build your dog’s confidence (and yours) on how to properly utilize some of the more difficult agility equipment. We will also cover more rules and regulations for competition. Teach your dog how to go through a full agility course in record time.
